055: Some Sketchbook Bits

ESTABLISHING SHOT
You’ve caught me in a week between busy weeks. Zinefest is behind us. That loop is closed. Now ahead of me I’ve got the ADHD conference that I will be scribing! I’ve never done anything like that in a professional setting, mostly just at D&D. So this is gonna be a big deal. It could lead to a whole new income stream for me.
FROM THE DESK
I’m working on a colored version of my ADHD zine to have at the ADHD conference as a bit of a giveaway. My dream for this project is to work with universities and organizations to help communicate what the ADHD experience is like so it can help people.
I think it looks pretty freakin good, if I do say so myself~
BEHIND THE PAGE
I used to have a much better sketchbook practice, even digitally. Thought you guys might enjoy seeing some of my sketches.
I did just get the Aqua Studio set from True Grit Texture Supply for Clip Studio and I’m experimenting more with that. You can find the brush set here.
I don’t think the project I’m thinking of doing will be full color at first, but just a simple ink wash effect. But definitely a wet medium.
I also just remembered that I have the Storylinez National Hui in October and I might be granted some pitch opportunities with some AuNZ publishers. I’ll only have 5 whole minutes to win them over but I think I can at least get some smiles and giggles.
